Information about The Vendor Fraud and Validations Bundle can be found here.
Vendor fraud happens a lot more frequently than most organizations realize. This is unfortunate because many companies are being victimized and they don’t realize until it’s too late. What’s more, it can internal or external and most recently it comes in a cyber variety.
According to a recent report from Kroll, 20% of all organizations experienced some sort of vendor fraud in the last 12 months. That’s why it is critical that everyone involved in the process know what to look for. This session is designed to help you recognize the signs of vendor fraud and take steps to prevent it. Don’t fall into the trap of thinking it couldn’t happen to your organization.
After this session you will be able to:
Differentiate the different types of vendor fraud
Integrate strong internal controls into your invoice and payment processes to prevent vendor fraud
Recognize the signs of a potential vendor fraud
Implement best practices to stop the newest vendor cyber frauds
Create a best practice process that deters vendor fraud
